Personality:
Rikka Takanashi is one strange girl. Don't be fooled! She may appear normal on the surface but, on the inside she is brimming with excitement and chaos! Rikka Takanashi is a Chuunibyou. Basically, she is one of those weirdos under the belief that they are gifted individuals with amazing powers that can either save the world or destroy it. Chuunibyou' are essentially living their own delusions and can be troublesome if taken too far. She's confident in her "powers" and is always out looking for an adventure. She also likes to come up with an assortment of special moves to fend off her "enemies".
But, Rikka wasn't always like this. She wasn't always a Chuunibyou.
Her encounter with the boy who called himself the "Dark Flame Master" was what changed her life forever. She watched him from afar and found him to be rather "cool". She developed a bit of a rebellious instinct. Before then, she was always so shy, quiet, and an obedient little girl. She never gathered the courage to approach that boy then, and she had to leave soon after.
Despite the negative things that are said about Chuunibyou's in general, Rikka's Chuunibyou is a positive aspect in her life. Without it, she'd be rather doll-like, only behaving in ways to please those around her. Not acting on her own accord but for other people's sake. It is thanks to her delusional imagination that she is able to smile, gain confidence in herself, and grow up. That's not to say she doesn't know reality from fiction. She is fully aware when her 'thoughts' just 'don't work'. And when she realizes that, she becomes depress and gives up easily.
Rikka also tends to get flustered easily whether its new emotions such as love or when things don't go according to plan. She's also very shy and awkward when being herself. But when she becomes her alter ego, she's gains a bit more confidence to speak up.
